Greetings. For those of you who are more familiar with the web, technology, grammar, the English language, etc. please forgive my bumbling attempt at a blog. As you could probably guess from the title, I am an ordained pastor in the Church of the Brethren. So who in the world is the Church of the Brethren (CoB)? If you don't know the answer, you can post a question and I'll try and reply or better yet, jump on your favorite search engine and look it up! I will also probably talk some about my denomination, my experiences as a pastor and Christianity as a whole, but my original intent was to provide a forum for dads to express their feelings. Mainly because I am about to become a father for the first time and I am a little more than frustrated about the lack of info out there for dads. And before you even start, I know there is some info out there and I've read a great deal about it and for the most part, I've found it less than helpful at best. Usually the stuff I've found has little to do with what I'm thinking or feeling and so I thought this would provide a way for me to vent. So dads, speak up! Let me know what you're thinking and feeling. Just because we can't give birth, do we not feel? Just because we do not lactate, do we not bleed?

I read what you wrote and I really like the last part of it it was so funny but I am so proud of you for wanting to know what is going on with with your wife and your unborn son I think the reason their is not a book or something out their is because most guys could care less about what is going on durning pregnacy so their isnt much of a market for those kinds of books which I think is a sham because like you said you are their when that life is being created so what shouldnt you be able to get the information and be able to understand what is going on in their maybe some day if enough men come forward and so hey we want the information and we want to know what is going on too then maybe some time soon they will come out with something for soon to be dads so in the mean time I guess all you can do is read the stuff for girls but you are doing a great job reading up on the subject and dont worry I know that you are going to be a great dad!!!!!!!!!
