Any dads at home? July 28, 2006

Just wanted to see if there were any dads who stayed at home and watched the kids while your significant other worked outside the home? I know this is a reversal of the “traditional” roles, but was curious to see what the responses would be.
Currently I work 26-30 hours per week and also take care of Cooper 4-5 days per week while my wife works full-time. So if you have any experiences you’d like to share this can be a sounding board for full-time dads as well as if there are any women who’d like to share their thoughts on this topic.
While I’m not a fulltime dad or a working mother, I always like to add my two cents. I think it’s great that your son has such a loving, caring dad to spend his days with; and an equally loving, caring mom for the evenings and weekends. Of course, the best part is his local Nanas – who think it’s time for another update from the dad & pastor.
i work from home whilst my wife attend university,i love the time i spend with the kids and i think the kids enjoy seeing me there,it has brought the whole family closer together ,and my wife loves having the felling of independance that she has,it works well for all of us and we are happier as a family than we ever were.have fun …..jimmy
